Welcome to Dragonfire Agility and Dragonfire Dogs. These pages will
introduce you to me,
Louise Wetzel, I live in Queens NY. I am currently teaching agility
classes and private lessons on Long Island, NY. I also have students in
Westchester County. Let me introduce you to
My Dogs, past and
present, who have taught me so much about agility and how to get this
information to my Students and their own dogs. Click here for my
teaching
Schedule, updated
weekly. Click
here
for descriptions of the agility classes I am teaching at the various
facilities.
I am a current member of
Long
Island Agility and
Doggie U K9
Academy, LIRR Flyball
Team and a past member of
Contact Agility
Club. I have
been the Show Chairman for Long Island Agility's spring NADAC trial for the
past number of years.
Other large areas of interest
besides my dogs and agility, are wolves and dragons I have an
extensive collection of all types of wolf collectibles, dog statues and
dragon figurines. So, the name Dragonfire and all my dogs have Dragonfire in their "fancy"
names. I also read quite a bit science fiction, fantasy and mystery.
Books in these genres fill my book shelves.

Devin and I, pictured along with judge, Jean
Mackenzie, who gave us that elusive Masters Jumpers leg at the CATS October
2003 USDAA trial. This was our MAD title, Master Agility Dog, something we
worked long and hard for. Thank you Jean and everyone else along the
way who helped us achieve the title, all the judges and the five Masters
Pairs Relay partners:
Ella
DuPree and Mick, Judy Reilly and Brodie,
Brian McGunigle and Edna, Nancy Obara and Majel, Sandy Costello and Maui.
Kane really gets into flyball, notice his

Some new photos of Raven and Errol
from our trip to Vermont in June of 2010.
We were visiting my cousins Chris and
Penny. The dogs had a great time, running, exploring in the wild of
their Vermont backyard!
